This is how I see wealth…
Wealth = the ability to fulfill needs now + in the future
It’s got nothing to do with being rich…
Being wealthy isn’t about what we have, but about who we think we are. It’s about feeling free to fully experience life.
In creating the freedom to be the best me, I am unlocking my ability to be wealthy, and to make money.
I believe that we increase our wealth by recognizing our individual talents and intelligences. This cultivation of our talents and intelligences spirals outwards, increasing the stock of human capital, and helping humanity. As we grow more wealthy, so does our world.
Business is our means to create wealth.
Business = a vehicle through which each of us can express who we are and create.
Since business is our means to make money, does it not make sense that to experience true wealth one needs to extend who they are through what they do (and is this not, by definition, Innerpreneurship)? Is business not our most powerful tool to discover the true wealth within us? I think so.
What’s your intention around money?
Is your true intention to be rich? Is lots of money what you seek?
Or is it something different?
Perhaps wealth is what you seek? Do you seek the freedom to fulfill your needs, and to express your gifts and the knowledge of who you truly are?
Take a look at your intentions around money. Consider what truly brings you happiness and satisfaction. Perhaps having lots of cash is what you need. But perhaps what you need is something that develops from the interior. Perhaps what you desire is to discover your own wealth within.
Doing the math on wealth.
This is how I see the equation:
Business (as a vehicle through which each of us can express who we are and create) = Wealth (as our ability to fulfill needs now + in the future) = Happiness, Growth and Satisfaction
Does my math hold up?
